Yogapeeth ISKCON Tri Central Valley Celebrates Second Anniversary with HG Vaisesika Dāsa & HG Nirakula Dasi

On July 11th, 2026: The Yogapeeth Center, ISKCON Tri Central Valley, celebrated its second anniversary with a gathering of devotees, families, and guests, featuring the presence of esteemed guests HG Vaisesika Prabhu and HG Nirakula Mataji. Coincidentally this year also marks the 60th Year of ISKCON! Their presence enriched the celebration as the Yogapeeth community reflected on Srila Prabhupada's mission and the significance of devotional service. 

The evening opened in an atmosphere of warmth and enthusiasm as devotees welcomed the special guests with traditional greetings and a heartfelt kirtan. The gathering included many longtime ISKCON devotees as well as several families and newcomers visiting Yogapeeth for the first time. During the welcome, the organizers highlighted Srila Prabhupada's gift to the world, the chanting of the holy name and the teachings of Srimad Bhagavatam and the responsibility of carrying those gifts forward through services, spiritual education, book distribution, Prasadam and outreach.

Welcoming HG Vaisesika Prabhu, the devotees expressed their gratitude for his presence at Yogapeeth. HG Vaisesika Prabhu acknowledged the efforts of the community and described the center as a vital spiritual center in the TriCentral Valley.

He gave a particularly memorable challenge:

“It’s not how many people we seat; it’s how many people we send. We want to empower everyone.”

Yogapeeth is not meant merely to grow in numbers; it is meant to empower devotees to become active servants of Srila Prabhupada's mission.

Speaking from the Srimad Bhagavatam, HG Vaisesika Prabhu explored the quality of accepting life's circumstances as Krishna's mercy. A sincere practitioner remains steadfast during challenging times, understanding that Krishna is ever-well-wishing. This message holds deep relevance for a growing community. As devotees build a spiritual sanctuary together, difficulties and responsibilities naturally arise. HG Vaisesika Prabhu emphasized that spiritual maturity is demonstrated through steady dedication to Krishna consciousness amidst all circumstances.

Another central theme of HG Vaisesika Prabhu's address was the importance of regularly studying Bhagavad gita As It Is. He encouraged practitioners to engage with the text daily, noting that even reading a single verse each day helps maintain clarity and mindfulness amidst daily distractions. For Yogapeeth, this instruction aligns with its broader mission. The center's regular gatherings provide opportunities for kirtan, japa meditation, scriptural study, youth programs, and prasadam distribution. The objective remains integrating these spiritual practices into home and daily life.

HG Vaisesika Prabhu conducted Yogapeeth’s first Bhadra Campaign, inspiring devotees and well wishers to sponsor copies of Srimad-Bhagavatam for distribution. The community collected an encouraging 34 Srimad Bhagavatam sponsorships, making this an important milestone in the center's effort to expand the distribution of Srila Prabhupada's transcendental literature.

As Yogapeeth completed its second year, devotees reflected with gratitude upon Krishna's countless blessings. From humble beginnings, Yogapeeth has become a welcoming spiritual home where families gather every week to chant the Holy Name, hear transcendental knowledge, engage in devotional service, and honor Krishna prasadam. The growth of the congregation is a testament to the dedication of volunteers, congregation members, donors, youth, and children who continue to serve enthusiastically under the guidance of senior devotees and spiritual preachers.

The evening thus concluded on a beautiful note not simply with celebration, but with a commitment to share Srila Prabhupada's mercy with people across the world through the timeless wisdom of Srimad Bhagavatam.

What began as a celebration of two years of Yogapeeth ended as an offering for the world bringing the message of Krishna to homes and hearts far beyond the TriCentral Valley.

The anniversary celebration provided an opportunity for the Yogapeeth community to come together in gratitude for the center’s spiritual journey and to reflect on its continued growth since its establishment in July 2024. Yogapeeth began its operations in the Tri Central Valley region as a center dedicated to sharing the preachings and practices of Krishna consciousness through kirtan, spiritual education, devotional service.

The center's Saturday programs specifically include spiritual enrichment for children, helping younger members of the community learn devotional principles in an engaging environment. Yogapeeth has also continued to expand educational opportunities, including structured scripture study programs such as the Bhakti Shastri course. Yogapeeth's journey began with a vision of creating a spiritual community rooted in the teachings of Srila Prabhupada. Two years later, that vision continues to take shape through the growing participation of devotees and newcomers alike.
