My spiritual journey began with a deep connection to Krishna consciousness. In Hyderabad, where I lived, our tenants were gradually transformed into Krishna consciousness. Every year during Janmashtami, we would visit the temple, immersing ourselves in the divine celebrations.

When I moved to California, we lived in an apartment. One day, while walking with my son, I met Sukeshwari Mataji. As we spoke, she shared that she was from ISKCON and warmly invited me to attend the Wednesday classes with her at the Bascom temple.

With her encouragement, I started visiting the temple regularly. One day, I saw Ruby Mataji making garlands, and I was so captivated by the service that I asked if I could join. By Krishna’s mercy, I was blessed with the opportunity to serve by making garlands for Sri Sri Radha Madan Mohan. Gradually, I also began chanting, deepening my devotion.

Along the way, I started reading Srila Prabhupada’s books with Ananda Mataji, and I also engaged in kids’ seva, a service given to me by Sukeshwari Mataji. Through these experiences, I developed wonderful associations with the devotees at ISKCON Silicon Valley (ISV). By Krishna’s grace, I continue my garland seva even now at ISV Sacramento.

Ananda Mataji further guided me in garland seva, and I was blessed with the opportunity to prepare garlands for the Deities of H.H. Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj whenever he visited the Bay Area. This seva brought immense joy and fulfillment to my heart.

In 2023, by the boundless mercy of Guru and Krishna, I was blessed to receive initiation from Maharaj, marking a new and deeply significant chapter in my spiritual journey.
